March – Camiknickers
March 2, 2009 | 3 Comments
March is here – feels like February went in the blink of an eye. How are your slips and knickers going? My slip is still under construction, as I need to do some serious alterations to it.
Anyhoo, March’s project is camiknickers – pretty and practical Camiknickers. I think I may use this Haslam pattern which builds on from the Step ins that we made in January (having some serious French Knicker love at the minute!) as that pattern worked out so well for me, and I love the tulip shaped hem – so pretty, and the added bonus is that they will help disguise my far less then perfect thighs.
This month we will also be posting some vintage embroidery patterns designed for making your lingerie even prettier, so have a look in the resources area – we will be adding to it regularly, so please keep an eye out.
And, last but not least, here’s Miss March – the very lovely Mary – enjoy xoxo

Oh, I can’t wait to see how they turn out!!! I’ve had a look at the pattern, but I can’t seem to figure out the gusset part…
Thanks for your comment – from what I have worked out, the gusset seems to attach to the peak of the “tulip” shape, as in, where it curves in to it’s peak, that’s where the point of the gusset fits. Pop back again soon as I will be posting instructions for these and another pattern. x
